Due
to the national economic recession and the state budget shortfalls, I have
decided to forego my annual Student Government Seminar for high school students
normally held in October of every year.

2008 Student Government Seminar
Friday, October 17, 2008
Senator White hosted her annual Student Government Seminar
at Clarion University-Venango in October.
The senator was joined by fellow legislators, Attorney
General Tom Corbett, lobbyists, government officials and media members to work
with students.
Students took part in exercises demonstrating how
legislation is developed, debated and passed.
